Feeling Festive at The Nelson
With Halloween a distant memory and the frosts laying out across the fields of Burnham Market most mornings, we are firmly in November and looking forward to Christmas in our Country Inn.
This week has seen our chefs trying out mulled wine and mince pie recipes ready for this weekends Christmas lights switch on in the village which is happening Saturday 18th November between 6pm and 7pm. Make sure that you pop by and try them; if the smell is anything to go by, you are in for a treat!
Saturday is doubly exciting for us as we have managed to secure local talent, Olivia Watson to come and sing to us from 2pm in our bar area. Fresh from performing at this years Latitude Festival, Olivia has been touring around the UK, either at festivals and acoustic events to providing the soundtrack to many weddings and parties. A North Norfolk girl, we’re happy to support her and can’t wait to hear her sing!
