What’s Happening at The Nelson – October

Autumn has officially landed here in Burnham Market and the view is simply stunning! With all the shades of gold, orange and red turning on the trees and shrubbery, it is looking very seasonal!

With a fresher feel to the coastal air we get here, if you’re coming for a visit or a dog walk, make sure you bring your body warmer but we promise you, it will leave you feeling awake and revitalised.

If you are passing, make sure you stop in for elevenses with us as we are now serving delicious, fresh baked scones and pastries along with our usual collection of coffee and teas. We’re loving the smell of the cinnamon swirls filling the air, it is making us quite ready for Christmas!

If you do pop in to see us, watch out for ‘Mind the Paint’ signs, as we are taking the opportunity to make small improvements to our premises and have started with touching up the paint work to the exterior of the pub, putting new entrance slabs down and having a bit of a clean-up. We like to look our best at all times and we promise you will not be disturbed.

We are also opening earlier than normal and offering breakfast from 8:30am to midday, with favourites Full English (vegetarian option available) and Eggs Benedict, as well as lighter bites such as toast and jams, or a classic bacon sandwich.

Don’t forget, we are also taking part in this years ‘Norfolk Restaurant Week’, which runs from 30th October to 10th November. As part of the event, we will be offering our high quality menus at an unmissable lower price giving people the opportunity to sample the best of what North Norfolk dining has to offer.

You can check out how to take part by looking at their website here http://www.norfolkrestaurantweek.co.uk/ and be sure to call us and book your place in that time as tables are sure to go quickly!

Call our team on 01328 738321 for more information on this or anything else we have mentioned above and we will be happy to chat
